Sunday

10 a.m. - 3 p.m. Move-in

3 p.m. Binghamton Information Session and Campus Tour: Learn about the admissions process at Binghamton through an information session led by an admissions counselor. Then, take a walking tour led by a student guide to explore campus including our learning facilities and recreational spaces.

4 p.m. Orientation

5 p.m. Welcome picnic for students and families

6:30 p.m. Goodbye to family members

7 p.m. Residential hall meetings

Monday

3:15 - 4:45 p.m. Binghamton University specialized tour: Explore spaces not shown during our regular campus tour! Choose one of the following tours and take an in-depth look at the resources and facilities at Binghamton:

  • Residential communities
  • Engineering and Science Building: In the Innovative Technologies Complex
  • Innovative Simulation and Practice Center in the Decker School of Nursing
  • Fine and Performing Arts: Including the on-campus Art Museum and more
  • Science Complex: Including the teaching labs, Science Library and greenhouses

4 - 5 p.m. Admissions 101 workshop: There are thousands of college options. So how do you choose? In this workshop, get the tools you need to navigate the admissions search and application process. Led by admissions counselors, this workshop will cover the information you need to know to find the right school for you and to stand out as an applicant.

4 - 5 p.m. Financial Aid 101 Workshop: Do you know how you’ll pay for college? In this session, financial aid counselors will discuss everything from grants to loans to scholarships. Learn how to determine the real cost of attending college and how to plan for the future.

4- 5 p.m. Mock College Admissions Review: Get a behind-the-scenes look at college admissions! During this session, see how the college admissions process works through a hands-on activity. Play the role of admissions committee and decide which students will be admitted to your university.

5- 6 p.m. STEAM Room: A maker's space where science, technology, engineering and math combined with the arts takes form in a collaborative, open space filled with equipment, tools and materials students can use to design and make: robots, electronics, music, art, jewelry, textiles and more.

6 - 9 p.m. Pizza party and bowling

Saturday

8 - 8:45 a.m. Breakfast

9 - 10 a.m. Team builders with program staff

10 - 11 a.m. Homework and study time

11:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. Lunch

Noon- 5 p.m. Animal Adventure Park (local community trip)

5 - 6 p.m. Bubble soccer

6 - 9 p.m. Video/board games in the Undergrounds

9 - 10 p.m. Free time
