Orientation

It's time to register for Orientation.

It's time to register for Orientation! Attending Orientation is important because it's a great way to get to know Binghamton students, faculty and staff, and to jump-start your personal Binghamton experience.

Newly admitted transfer students for spring 2023 who have paid their enrollment deposit can register for Orientation found on the Orientation checklist on my.binghamton.edu.

Your transfer Orientation experience will take place in December and January and includes:

  • Orientation checklist: The checklist outlines important steps to complete before the spring semester.
  • Academic advising and registration appointments: This virtual academic advising and course registration appointment will take place in December or early January. Make sure to complete your Orientation checklist to access instructions to schedule your appointment. Note: All health and immunization records must be submitted prior to course registration, including proof of COVID-19 vaccination.
  • Orientation (Thursday, Jan. 12):  At this in-person session you'll hear from your Orientation advisor, Transfer Student Services and other on-campus resources. Once you register you'll receive additional information in your confirmation email. If you are living on campus, you'll move into your residential community on Thursday, Jan. 12.
  • B-Welcome: A series of welcome events organized for our brand-new Bearcats!
