For Parents

Binghamton in the CityAs the parent of a current Binghamton University student, you are indeed welcome to participate in our Binghamton in the City week. Our events include a number of opportunities to obtain information and advice that can help you assist your son or daughter in taking advantage of high impact learning experiences that can help them obtain an internship or job.

You'll have the opportunity to hear staff members from numerous University departments talk about the multitude of resources they provide for students (e.g., HireBing, Focus 2).  During the week you may discover opportunities to support your student as he or she pursues an internship or job. You will also meet parent leaders who will share their perspectives and tips as both parents and employers.
