Join us at Homecoming 2013
By Steve Seepersaud
The fall will be here before we know it. So will an opportunity to come back to campus for a truly unforgettable weekend. Make plans today to join us at Homecoming 2013, planned for Friday-Sunday, Oct. 11-13.
At Homecoming, you can experience joy and nostalgia seeing friends and places you haven't seen for years. You can create new memories with your family and friends. And, if you haven't been here for a while, you'll be amazed to see how your alma mater has grown. Homecoming is a great time to renew friendships, explore the additions to campus and reflect on how much your years at Binghamton meant to you.
We’ll have special celebrations for the Classes of 1953, 1963, 1973, 1988 and 2003, Bearcats of the Last Decade (BOLD) and the 40th anniversary of Harpur’s Ferry. President Harvey Stenger looks forward to speaking to alumni about the University's Road Map to the future, a strategic plan to make Binghamton the premier public university of the 21st century. Anne McCall, the new dean of Harpur College of Arts and Sciences, also looks forward to meeting with alumni.
Signature events will include Late Nite Madness - a Friday night showcase for our basketball teams and spirit squads - a Saturday tailgate party outside the Events Center and a men's soccer game against UMass-Lowell immediately afterward.
See the schedule of events and register now at the Homecoming 2013 website. Alumni who pre-register will receive exclusive discounts at campus and area vendors. Reach out to friends through Facebook and B-Connected, and encourage them to join you. Homecoming is always more fun when you share the experience with friends.
If you have any questions, please contact the Alumni Relations office at 607-777-2424 or firstname.lastname@example.org. We can't wait to see you on campus this fall!
