Dorothea Ferguson Bell '76 is vice president of human resources for the Wartburg Adult Care Community. She had served for nine years as vice president of human resources for Aging in America/Morningside House Nursing Home, a large not-for-profit service provider in the Bronx.
Christopher M. Jones '88, MA '90 is associate vice provost for university honors at Northern Illinois University (NIU). He was also promoted to the rank of professor of political science. In July, he was a member of a U.S. scholarly delegation invited by Taiwan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs to discuss international security issues. In November, Jones was named NIU's 2011 Outstanding International Educator. His latest book is The Handbook of American Foreign Policy (Routledge, 2011), co-edited with Steven W. Hook.
Eric E. O. Colago ’93 earned a master’s degree from Hunter College School of Nursing, and was inducted to Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society for Nursing. He also received an Outstanding Award for Excellence in Clinical Practice for the Nurse Practitioner Graduate Program. He works at New York Presbyterian Weill Cornell Medical Center in the Cardiothoracic ICU.
Jennifer Weston '93 created mydreamcametrue.com, a website on which people review bucket-list-worthy things to do all over the world, such as swimming in a bioluminescent bay, horseback riding on a Caribbean beach, cage diving with sharks, taking a hot air balloon ride over Costa Rica or attending a movie premiere.
Christopher B. Brown '95, principal at Conrad Geoscience Corp., in Poughkeepsie, N.Y., a division of PVE Sheffler, LLC, is a project manager for the TriCarb Consortium for Carbon Sequestration, LLC. TriCarb is conducting geologic testing in Rockland County to determine if a deep formation could someday be used to permanently store carbon dioxide – a greenhouse gas.
Jane Rosales '09 is coordinator of the Mobile Legal Help Center for New York Legal Assistance Group. The program is the first of its kind in New York state and city.
