Ann Connery Frantz
'71 received the Dr. Neila C. Seshachari Award for writing the best fiction story published during 2009 in Weber: The Contemporary West, for a story titled "Samaritan." Ann lives in Lancaster, Mass.       


Janet Redstone '78, '81Janet Redstone
'78, '81 (left) released the CD The Colors of the World in May with a concert at the Skokie Theatre Music Foundation in Skokie, Ill. She can be contacted through janetredstone.com.

 

Sean O’Leary '86 was promoted to the operations integration branch chief in the Response Division in Chicago's FEMA regional office. He coordinates federal emergency response for six states in the Midwest. Sean has been with FEMA since 2003. He lives in Chicago with his wife Sandy and son Cary (2 years old).


Robert Angelillo '95Robert Angelillo
'95 (right) was named to the "40 Under 40" list by Long Island Business News. He is a member of the law firm Meyer, Suozzi, English & Klein, P.C. Prior to joining the firm, he was an associate at a construction litigation law firm in New York.

Christina Ritter George '99 received the Canisius College Student Personnel Program’s Distinguished Alumni Award; it recognizes support of the program and contributions to the student affairs field.

Leah Umansky won a week-long poetry scholarship to the Norman Mailer Writers Colony in Provincetown, Mass., in May.
