Join us Aug. 5 for a great day of golf
By Steve Seepersaud
Who wouldn't enjoy being out of the office on a Friday in the summer, especially if it included a full day of golf, time with great friends, and enough food and beverages to keep you satisfied?
All of this awaits you at the 2016 Alumni Golf Classic, which will take place Friday, Aug. 5, at The Links at Hiawatha Landing in Apalachin, about 20 minutes west of the University. The tournament, which raises money for
the Alumni Association's Legacy Scholarship Fund, includes a round of golf at one
of the area's premier courses, lunch, a dinner reception, door prizes and raffles.
Our tournament is open to everyone.
We can take a maximum of 36 teams for this event, and we anticipate many of our foursomes from last year will return. That means you'll want to round up your teammates and sign up for this Captain-and-Crew tournament as soon as possible. Registration is available through the Alumni Golf Classic website; the deadline to enter is Friday, July 15.
In addition, we are seeking sponsors for this event. A full listing of sponsorship
opportunities can be found at the tournament website. The Alumni Golf Classic is a
wonderful opportunity to get your brand in front of an educated, affluent audience.
If you have questions about the tournament or our sponsorship questions, contact Kevin Lobdell, associate director of alumni engagement, by e-mail or at 607-777-6922.

Join us on campus Sept. 23-25 for a celebration of #BingPride for all alumni. We are thrilled that alumnus Bill
T. Jones will give a dance performance. Plus, we'll have a stimulating TIER Talks™
speaker event and special reunions for WHRW, Sigma Alpha Epsilon, LGBTQ alumni and
Alumni of Color.
