Find a match, share a 'Greenride' to campus
Two cars that have been parked in reserved spots on campus for the past few weeks are now available to drive as the University launches its car-sharing program — Connect by Hertz. Students, faculty and staff who register as members of Connect by Hertz can reserve one of the cars for an hour, a day or up to a week at a time. University employees and students can now also go online to create an account and begin a search for potential carpool matches.

The University’s recently launched Academic Program and Faculty Development Fund has selected ten proposals to receive funding. The proposals were chosen based on their ability to generate work collaborations among the faculty of Binghamton’s six schools and their potential for future external funding. The fund will provide $250,000 annually in financial assistance through 2017.
