A hilarious evening is in store on Tuesday, April 2 at 8 p.m. when the Les Ballets Trockadero de Monte Carlo troupe, also known as the Trocks, brings a mixed-rep of comedic dance to the Anderson Center stage. Although this all-male company portrays classical ballet in a funny fashion, they are serious professional dancers. In the nearly 40 years since its inception, the original concept of Les Ballets Trockadero de Monte Carlo has not changed. The Trocks continue to entertain and amuse ballet aficionados as well as novices while bringing dance to the widest possible audiences. Howard M. Klein '77Howard M. Klein '77 (left) is a fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers, one of the premier legal associations in America. Founded in 1950, the college is composed of the best of the trial bar from the United States and Canada. Fellowship is extended by invitation only, after careful investigation, to experienced trial lawyers who have mastered the art of advocacy and who display the highest standards of conduct. He is a partner in the Kirkland & Ellis, LLP tax department.

Edward Pichardo '92Edward Pichardo '92 (right) has been named of counsel at Meyer, Suozzi, English & Klein, P.C. As a former program director for the New York State Senate's Majority Counsel and Program Office, he co-authored the 2010 Business Diversification Act and had a number of key legislative accomplishments. Prior to his affiliation with Meyer et al., he was a senior attorney with the Transport Workers Union, Local 100.

Jose R. Polanco, MA '94 joined the medical staff of Blackstone Valley Community Health Care as assistant medical director and chief medical information officer. His specialty is internal medicine. Most recently, Polanco served as a primary care physician for the PACE organization of Rhode Island, and prior to that assignment, was in private practice. In addition to his full-time position, he was selected for fellowship in the American College of Physicians (ACP) in 2011. He resides in Cranston, R.I., with his wife, Sharli, and their two children.

David M. Curry '95David M. Curry '95 (left) received a Leadership in Law Award from Long Island Business News in recognition of his dedication to excellence and leadership in both the legal profession and the community. He is counsel in the real estate department of Farrell Fritz, PC.

Michael Kaplan '99Michael Kaplan '99 (right) will release his debut album, Flaud Logic, on March 31. Originally an attempt to demo some song ideas Kaplan had written over the years, Flaud Logic gradually evolved into a full-length album featuring performances from a cadre of talented musicians. The Flaud Logic sound can best be described as progressive rock, a genre true to Kaplan's love of sonic experimentation. Learn more at

Eric C. Henry Jr. '05 is legislative director for New York City Councilmember Andy King (D-12th District). He was formerly a graduate fellow for the Justice Action Center at New York Law School.

Jasmine Sawers '08Jasmine Sawers '08 (left) won the 2012 Emerging Writer's Contest in fiction for her story "The Culling." The $1,000 awards recognize work by an emerging writer in fiction, nonfiction and poetry. Winning pieces appeared in the Winter 2012 issue of Ploughshares.
