Raymond D'Agostino '65Raymond R. D'Agostino '65 was selected for inclusion in The Best Lawyers in America for 2014. He has practiced health law in New York for more than 30 years and is the leader of the healthcare practice at Hancock Estabrook, LLP. Best Lawyers compiles lists of outstanding attorneys by conducting exhaustive peer-review surveys in which thousands of leading lawyers confidentially evaluate their professional peers.

AARPDavid Lindeman '74, an expert in technology and aging, joined the California Executive Council of AARP; the council is a group of volunteer leaders that provides strategic vision and guidance. Lindeman has worked in the field of aging and long-term care for 30 years as a health services researcher and administrator. In addition to directing the Center for Technology and Aging, he serves as co-director of the Center for Innovation and Technology in Public Health, which advances the use of technology to support population health.

Paul Herrnson '81Paul S. Herrnson '81 is executive director of The Roper Center for Public Opinion Research at the University of Connecticut. Additionally, he is a professor in the political science department.

Sylvia Rodriguez Vargas '92Sylvia Rodriguez Vargas '92, head of the Brownell-Talbot School in Omaha, Neb., published her first book, Women of Color Heads of Independent Schools: A Framework of Culturally Relevant Leadership (Scholars' Press, 2013). She wrote the book as part of her doctoral program at The Ohio State University. The book offers a qualitative study on the lived experience of women of color heads of independent schools in the United States, their professional journeys and their approach to leadership.

YARR!Bill DeFranza '98 published a small pirate-themed, role-playing game titled "Yarr!" It is suitable and designed for children and beginners, but fun for veteran players, too. It's a fun little game that is a great way to introduce your kids to the joys of imaginative, interactive table-top gaming.

mikCatie Molinaro '06 and her partner, Mike, launched MiK Sound Case. The product uses a patent-pending sound channel to amplify a speaker 15-20 decibels louder and also to improve the tone and clarity of the sound. Matthew Suozzo '08 co-founded Carma Systems, Inc. with three friends. Last July, the company launched its first consumer product, CarmaLink, on Amazon. CarmaLink is a system consisting of hardware installed in your vehicle and a website that helps you monitor not only where but how you are driving, or in many cases, how your child or elderly parent is driving.
