The Class of 2013 boasts some of the most impressive academic credentials of any Binghamton class ever. The entering class has an average SAT score of 1290 and an average high school GPA of 94.
University again named to Fiske's 'best buy' list
For the third consecutive year, Binghamton University has been rated a “Best Buy” by the Fiske Guide to Colleges, and recognized yet again as the “premier public in the Northeast.”
Deak named deputy to the president
Terrence Deak, associate professor of psychology, was appointed deputy to the president, effective July 23. Deak, a behavioral neuroscientist, replaced Matthew Johnson, who returned to the faculty.

Campus projects to receive Ross Fund grants
