The Binghamton Fund is an annual giving program that seeks to secure flexible gifts supporting strategic initiatives critical to the success of our faculty and students. Gifts to the Binghamton Fund, an institutional priority, empower Binghamton University to realize its mission to enrich the lives of people in the region, nation and world through discovery and education. These gifts also enable University leaders to seize immediate opportunities for programs, projects and faculty support that add depth and breadth to the University experience and advance the goals identified in the strategic plan.
Collectively, gifts to the Binghamton Fund make a powerful and immediate impact by providing critical resources to fund important campus needs — such as inspiring teaching, cutting-edge research, and life-changing community outreach. Because tuition and state support alone do not provide for many programs and services, contributions from private sources are essential to the University’s success. Binghamton Fund gifts touch every aspect of the University’s operation. These resources ensure that those with a commitment to inquiry, excellence and discovery find their place within the University; they make certain that students and faculty have the necessary tools and resources to examine current beliefs and create new knowledge; and they foster communication and mentoring opportunities betweenall members of the University community.
