By delivering an education that is in a class of its own — an education that is great and public, selective and accessible, community-oriented and globally involved — Binghamton ranks among the best public universities in the nation. Establishing this vision was bold, to be sure, yet it’s a vision that, with support from alumni and friends, is being realized. In only six decades, Binghamton’s growth — from a small, liberal arts college to a premier public university — has been nothing short of astounding. Our graduates continue to become leaders in their careers; our faculty continue to create and contribute — side-by-side with their students — critical new knowledge in dozens of fields of study; and our leaders continue to plan for an even more brilliant future. We cannot, however, achieve this new vision without the generous support of all who believe in the Binghamton promise and its mission.
