Direct costs are actual charges that appear on your tuition bill.
Non-direct costs are estimated expenses that may be incurred during the academic year that do not appear on your tuition bill, i.e., books/supplies.
A financial aid package considers both direct and non-direct costs to meet the cost of attendance.
