With Homecoming 2015 right around the corner, here's a list of some of exciting events going on this weekend! There's something for everyone as current and past Binghamton University communities come together to show their Bearcat pride!
Listen to international bestselling author Azar Nafisi speak about her extraordinary experiences teaching classes in Iran, which she wrote about in her memoir, Reading Lolita in Tehran: A Memoir in Books. Come to the Anderson Center Chamber Hall at 5 p.m. Friday. The talk is free and open to the public.
Join President Harvey Stenger as he meets with alumni and shares exclusive information about new campus developments and what’s in store for Binghamton University at 11 a.m. Saturday in the Alumni Center Lounge.
Witness the ribbon-cutting and official grand opening of our brand new, state-of-the-art Alumni Center. This ceremony will take place at 1 p.m. Saturday in Old O'Connor Hall. All alumni and friends are welcome to attend.
Listen as alumni and faculty come together to disuss their thoughts on hot topics. The event will be held at 2:15 p.m. Saturday in Watters Theater.
Congressman Hakeem Jeffries will provide advice and insight for those students hoping to pursue a career in public service at 1 p.m. Saturday at the University Downtown Center.
Eat some delicious food, dance to some great music and support your favorite Bearcats at Tailgate ’15! The "main event" of Homecoming weekend will take place at 3 p.m. Saturday in the Events Center parking lot.
Our men’s soccer team will play against UMass Lowell under the lights beginning at 6 p.m. Saturday! Come to the Bearcat Sports Complex to show your Bearcat pride and root for our team!
Join the Alumni of Color Network as they party to the music of celebrity DJ Kid Capri at the Liquid Lounge beginning at 9 p.m. Saturday!
Get your morning workout in by participating in the Homecoming 5K Run and Walk. Check in at the Alumni Center at Old O'Connor Hall at 10 a.m. before you begin the 3.1 mile non-competitive race around campus! Participants who show the most Binghamton spirit will earn some cool prizes!
