As a junior at Binghamton, I can speak for most students in saying that studying for hours at the same exact location gets old. Fortunately, there are many places to study both on and off campus! Here's a look at some unique spots to make studying a little more bearable.

When the weather brought blankets of snow to campus, Binghamton University President Harvey Stenger, in the spirit of the season, decided to hold a snow sculpture contest, promising prizes and awards to the coolest creations.
After a great response from our students, it's time to announce the winners of Binghamton University's 2016 Snow Sculpture Contest! The competition was rough and the stakes were high, but only a few could become (drumroll) ... Binghamton's Next Top Snowman. Here are the winners and their respective categories.

When Jesse Cole came to Binghamton, he discovered that his favorite part of his major, biology, was the nervous system. Choosing neuroscience as his new major was a no-brainer (pun intended). Through internships, research and undergraduate courses, Jesse has learned to love research, but without losing interest in music, being a tour guide and everything else he is involved in on campus.
