With graduation looming around the corner, senior Lou Toujague was unsure about what career path his life would take him down, but volunteering with Vestal Volunteer Emergency Squad (EMS) put any doubts he had at ease. As a volunteer member of Vestal EMS, Lou follows his passion by responding to emergency calls to provide medical care to patients. He also lives in the EMS facility and drives the ambulance as part of the Vestal EMS Bunk-In program.

Being in a sorority has not only allowed me to make friends and memories that will last a lifetime, but it has also given me the first-hand experience of understanding the importance of an organization coming together to give back to those in need. Greek Life may only be about 13 percent of the student population, but when we all come together to fundraise and give back, our impact is profound and powerful on the Binghamton University campus and beyond.
As co-chair of Alpha Epsilon Phi's Mr. Greek God Competition, I learned the ins and outs of planning and organizing a philanthropy event. After seeing the success of our event and how supportive the rest of the Greek Life community was in making our event so great, I became curious as to what other fraternities and sororities did to give back to their causes. After interviewing representatives from some of the different organizations, I've learned that as great as each organization is on their own, they're even that much better when multiple organizations come together. Let's see what events each organization hosts and how the rest of the Greek Life community supports them!

It’s almost that time of the year again. Held annually in May, Spring Fling signifies one final weekend for students to have fun before the stress of diligent studying and paper writing hits during Finals Week. Students can enjoy live music, every greasy food known to man, and enough rides to make your head spin. Here are some reasons we’re looking forward to Bing Spring Fling 2016 on May 7. (Say that five times fast.)
A theater enthusiast by nature and a marketing major by choice, Douglas Harrington is as passionate about Binghamton as he is about using his sense of creativity to succeed. Though he is graduating in just three years, having earned two semesters worth of college credits in high school, his extracurricular schedule keeps him busier than most students would be four years in. A humble student, Harrington said that he’s “not really special, just busy.” We disagree. See what a normal day at Binghamton is like for Doug.
