Personal Training Staff
Anthony is currently a senior studying Accounting and Creative Writing. Anthony grew up in Hauppauge, NY where he earned a black belt in Kempo karate and was a county champion sprinter at his High School. As a certified Personal Trainer through ACE, Anthony is excited to share his passion for a healthy lifestyle with others. Anthony also holds specialty certifications in R.I.P.P.E.D.® along with TRX suspension training. Anthony instructs the TRX and SYNRGY360 classes for campus recreation.
Alexa is a senior studying Industrial and Systems Engineering with a minor in Health and Wellness. She is from East Islip, NY where she played soccer and ran cross country and track. Alexa works in FitSpace as a Fitness Manager and ACE certified Personal Trainer. Alexa also holds specialty certifications in Spinning, Pink Gloves Boxing and R.I.P.P.E.D.®. She loves weight training, running, taking spin classes, and playing sports for fun. As an ACE certified personal trainer, Alexa hopes to help others reach their fitness goals and live healthier lifestyles.
Chris is a junior majoring in Integrative Neuroscience and minoring in Health and Wellness. His hometown is Chester, NY, where he competed in shot put for Track and Field. During his senior year of high school, Chris lost fifty pounds and has been in love with fitness ever since. He recently trained and competed in a Spartan Race, which he plans on doing again in the near future. As a certified personal trainer through ACE, Chris is looking forward to helping people with their health and fitness goals.
Julia is currently a senior studying Integrative Neuroscience with a minor in Education. She is from Buffalo, NY and has competed in swimming, volleyball, and track and field. Along with being an American Council on Exercise (ACE) certified personal trainer, she also holds certifications in lifeguarding and waterfront rescue. She is currently on the women's rugby and gymnastics teams here at Binghamton, and also teaches children's swim lessons. Julia is very interested in many different areas of fitness and is looking forward to always learning more while helping others along the way.
Giovanna is a senior majoring in Integrative Neuroscience. She has been an ACE Certified Personal Trainer since December 2013. She enjoys educating and training clients with various health and fitness goals. Her favorite part about being a personal trainer is motivating clients by helping them find ways to truly enjoy exercising. In her free time she enjoys experimenting with healthy recipes, watching movies, and spending time with her friends and family. She is passionate about helping others and hopes to encourage anyone interested in working toward leading a healthier lifestyle. In addition to being a Certified Personal Trainer, Giovanna is a certified Pink Gloves Boxing and R.I.P.P.E.D.®. instructor.
Darius believes that there's more to fitness than just lifting heavy things and setting them back down again. This Buffalo native is a third year personal trainer with years of experience in sport competition, including football, wrestling, lacrosse, running, and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. Darius also holds a specialty certifications in TRX suspension training and R.I.P.P.E.D.®, as well as being an instructor for the TRX and SYNRGY360 classes held in FitSpace. He has vast experience with both intensive weight training and exhaustive cardiovascular training, but Darius' passion lies with incorporating functionality into his programs. Darius maintains his devotion to the fundamentals through his involvement with the many spectrums of fitness. Based on his clients' personal goals, Darius aspires to provide them with the tools and knowledge necessary for them to achieve those goals
Chris is currently Graduate Student in the MBA program. He is originally from Ithaca NY where he competed in Football, Track and Field, and Downhill Ski Racing. Currently a Pole Vaulter for the Varsity Track and Field team here at Binghamton, he has an insatiable hunger for fitness. Certified through ACE, he is constantly trying to learn more and help others achieve their fitness goals.
