NYC Specialty-Internship & Job Fair on January 16, 2014
Students with, or who are looking to explore, career interests in the communications, entertainment, media and sports fields are invited to attend a Binghamton University specialty-Internship & Job Fair in New York City. The Career Development Center is hosting this specialty fair exclusively for Binghamton University students on January 16, 2014, from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m at the Fashion Institute of Technology in the John E. Reeves Great Hall Room (7th Avenue at 28th Street, Manhattan).
Representatives from over 20 organizations will be available to speak with students regarding both full-time employment and internship opportunities as well as offer career advice in regard to breaking into these fields. Employers and organizations continue to be recruited, and those registered for the fair so far include:

Students planning to attend this fair should come prepared with an updated copy of their resume as well as be prepared to network with employers and articulate their career interests and strengths as a candidate. Attendees are encouraged to pre-register through eRecruiting. Those who pre-register and attend will be entered into a drawing for Binghamton merchandise and gift cards.
In addition to this fair, also happening in New York City earlier in the week on Wednesday, January 15 is Metro Career Night 2014. This event is an opportunity for students to network, explore careers and receive career advice from successful Binghamton University alumni working in a wide range of careers and living in the metro NY area. Admission to this event is free. Dress is business casual. Pre-registration is strongly recommended, and students who do pre-register and attend will be entered into a drawing to win special Binghamton University prizes.
