The Emergency Fund is a source of financial assistance for currently enrolled eligible Binghamton University students experiencing an unusual and unforeseen financial demand which immediately threatens matriculation and for which there is no other source of reasonable remedy. This fund cannot be used for jail bond or meal charges. Funds are awarded as a grant, and unlike a loan, do not need to be repaid.
All students receiving assistance from this fund must submit receipts within 10 days. Failure to do so could prohibit use of this fund in the future and may result in reporting of income to the IRS. Contact the Dean of Students at firstname.lastname@example.org or (607) 777-2804.
A printable PDF copy of the Student Emergency Fund Request Form is available here.
