New York State Attorney General Debate

Thursday, October 30, 2014 at 7:00pm

State Attorney General Eric Schneiderman and his Republican challenger, John Cahill, have agreed to a live, televised, statewide debate on NY1, NY1 Noticias and Time Warner Cable News.
 
The hour long debate will be held on Thursday, October 30 at Hilbert College, just outside of Buffalo. Capital Tonight anchor Liz Benjamin will moderate, and will be joined by three panelists including NY1 Political Anchor Errol Louis.

New York State Gubernatorial Debate

The Buffalo News and WNED/WBFO of Buffalo announced Tuesday that they will co-sponsor the hourlong event at the Ch. 17 studios in Buffalo, to be broadcast statewide on the PBS network, New York's public radio stations, and streamed live on BuffaloNews.com.

Invitations have been accepted by incumbent Democratic Gov. Andrew M. Cuomo and Republican Rob Astorino, as well as Howie Hawkins of the Green Party and Libertarian Michael McDermott.

State Senate - Libous/Starzak Radio Debate

The candidates for the 52nd District seat in the New York State Senate faced each other in a live debate broadcast October 10, 2014 on WNBF Radio's Binghamton Now program. Republican incumbent Thomas Libous and Democratic challenger Anndrea Starzak discussed some of the issues and challenges facing the Southern Tier and the state.

State Comptroller Tom DiNapoli and his Republican rival, Bob Antonacci, debated live on NY1 at Baruch College in Manhattan on Wednesday, October 15, at 7 p.m.

Join Binghamton University's Vote Everywhere Ambassador Nick Doran for an informal voter information session at Hillside Commons. Nick will present information on local candidates, races, and the State ballot proposals and be on hand to answer any questions. There will be PIZZA!
