The Smart Energy Operations Research Laboratory (SEORL) at Binghamton University was established in 2015 by Dr. Yong Wang.

SEORL focuses on the design, modeling, and management of complex energy and manufacturing systems. The central theme of the research is to understand the working principles of these systems and make them more efficient and reliable by optimally integrating various resources such as information, equipment, materials, finance and people.

We regularly recruit highly motivated graduate students to work in our lab. Applications from government-funded exchange students or visiting scholars are also welcome. If you are interested in any of the following research areas, please email your CV to Dr. Yong Wang.
