Directions to the UTC - Main Campus:

The University Testing Center is located in Old Johnson Hall (OJ), East Wing, Room 324. To access our office, enter through the main doors, take the Old Johnson elevator (to the left of main entrance) to the third floor and follow the signs to the University Testing Center.

Directions to the UTC - Health Sciences Campus:

The University Testing Center is located in the Decker School of Nursing and Health Sciences Building (HSB), Room 349. To access our office, enter through the main doors, take the elevator (to the left of main entrance) to the third floor and follow the signs to the University Testing Center.

Please note: The Decker School of Nursing and Health Sciences Building is accessible by keycard access only and is therefore only available to students actively enrolled in a Health Science Campus discipline with permission to access the HSB. Students with courses on Main Campus may not elect to take their exams in Johnson City for convenience.


Hours of Operation:

Proctoring is available during the regular semesters (Fall/Spring):

Monday - Thursday, 8am-10pm and Friday, 8am-7pm.
BY APPOINTMENT ONLY

Proctoring is available during the interim semesters (Winter/Summer):

Monday - Friday, 9am - 4pm.
Evening hours may be requested and are subject to staff availability.

Exams may be picked up and dropped off during our administrative hours:

Monday - Friday, 9am - 4pm.

***PLEASE NOTE: HSC hours may vary slightly from Main Campus. Please contact the UTC with questions regarding timing for make-up exams***

The UTC is closed and proctoring is unavailable during University Holidays and when classes are cancelled due to inclement weather

 Additional Information:

  • Exams are adminstered by appointment only.
  • Instructions for exam reservations can be found on our Schedule an Appointment webpage.
  • A valid photo ID is required for all faculty, staff, and examinees.
