20:1 Bystander Intervention Program Mission Statement

Founded at Binghamton University in 2004, 20:1 Bystander Intervention Program is dedicated to help end sexual assault and other forms of interpersonal violence through bystander intervention.  20:1 is a peer education program that educates students by providing interactive bystander intervention programming addressing sexual assault, domestic violence, hate, bullying, hazing as well as other potentially violent situations where there may be an opportunity for bystander intervention.  The program engages the audience in a meaningful dialogue about the factors that go into decision-making and how these might apply in realistic situations students could experience during college.
