The Office of the Dean of Students is here to help you access the services and resources you need when you find yourself in a situation you can't resolve on your own – whether it's an emergency or not. We'll help you explore options and connect you with resources for any issue you're having difficulty with – academic life or coursework, personal or family problem.
But we're also here for students in crisis situations. Examples of situations where we can offer assistance include:
Think of us as facilitators. We can help you communicate with academic advisers, professors, counselors, roommates, administrators and others to help you work your way through your crisis and to consider your options for getting back on track after the immediate crisis has passed.
You can contact us at 607-777-2804 from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. If it's after 5 p.m., you can reach us by calling the Binghamton University Police at 607-777-2393. We always have someone on call to assist you.
