Qigong & Meditation

Noon-1 p.m.
Free for faculty, students and staff. Qigong is the ancient Chinese practice of aligning breath, movement and awareness in order to cultivate and balance chi, or "intrinsic life energy." Qigong practice involves rhythmic breathing coordinated with a slow repetition of fluid movements. Some consider Qigong an exercise, others a meditation. Join us and discover what this simplistic activity can do for your physical and mental well-being. The Qigong session will be followed by a short, guided meditation with one of our massage therapists.

Waterfalls Day Hike
Salt Springs State Park

This small state park in nearby Pennsylvania is a hidden jewel. Waterfalls, old growth hemlocks and amazing natural beauty will not disappoint you. Sturdy hiking shoes are highly recommended. Bring a camera and your sense of adventure. Sign up in the Outdoor Pursuits office, EG-10, by Tuesday, May 7. Cost $5.

Slacklining

Test your balance, skill and have fun SLACKLINING!! This is what some might call "tight-rope" walking between trees and it is a lot of fun that requires no experience. Join Outdoor Pursuits to hang out and have some fun. There will be multiple slacklines, ukuleles, singing and laughing to relax before finals week.
