The Binghamton University Alumni Association is here for you – to keep you connected to classmates and to the University. Once you graduate from the Decker School, you are automatically a member of the Alumni Association, and this membership is free for life. Throughout the year, both on and off campus, the Alumni Association sponsors events and programs to bring you together with fellow alumni and to further your professional development. In addition, Alumni Association members can take advantage of a number of benefits and services.

One important way you can build and maintain professional connections is through the Alumni Association's LinkedIn groups. We encourage you to join the Professional Network and Job Forum groups; these are open to all graduates of Binghamton University as well as students, faculty and staff. You can expand your network, view and share job postings, and share advice with students.

As a graduate of the Decker School, you can be engaged and make a difference in the University community! Learn about our many alumni volunteer opportunities and get involved today! Among other things, volunteers recruit students to Binghamton, visit campus to speak in classes and mentor current students.

Each fall, the Alumni Association sponsors Homecoming, which is a great occasion to come back to campus, see your friends, make new ones, and be amazed by the new additions to campus.

Decker School of Nursing receives $550,000 to establish scholarship endowment

The Decker School of Nursing at Binghamton University has been awarded $550,000 from the Helene Fuld Health Trust, HSBC Bank USA, N.A., Trustee to establish a scholarship endowment for undergraduate students pursuing nursing baccalaureate degrees.

The Helene Fuld Health Trust Scholarship Fund for Baccalaureate Nursing Students will be awarded to 10-20 students annually, beginning this fall.

"We are thrilled that the Helene Fuld Health Trust has chosen to support students in the Decker School," Said Joyce Ferrario, dean of the Decker School. "The need for nurses is great and assistance to students who choose this profession is most welcome. We look forward to a continued partnership with the Helene Fuld health Trust."

The Helene Fuld Health Trust's mission is to support and promote the health, welfare, and education of student nurses and is the nation's largest private funder devoted exclusively to nursing students and nursing education. HSBC Bank USA, a corporate trustee, is responsible for overseeing and administering the Fuld Trust.

The Decker School of Nursing, established in 1969, offers programs that prepare students to serve as clinical nurse specialists, nurse practitioners, nurse administrators or nurse educators.
