Sponsors and Collaborators

The success of the Freshman Research Immersion (FRI) program depends upon the collaboration and support of faculty, students, industry partners and external funding entities.

Binghamton University has committed to FRI in terms of strategic vision, academic support, facilities and financial resources.

We thank the Howard Hughes Medical Institute, New York State Regional Economic Development Council, SUNY IP Fund, SUNY EIP Fund, and National Science Foundation Geopath-Extra for their support of Binghamton University's FRI program.

With such a substantial commitment, the University also realizes a great need to seek sponsors and collaborators locally, state-wide and nationally to continue funding the program long-term and instructing tomorrow's professionals, researchers and educators in the sciences, technologies, engineering disciplines and mathematics. Those interested in exploring opportunities should contact FRI@binghamton.edu.
