The International Race, Ethnicity, and Place (REP) Conference was created by John Frazier with Binghamton University's Department of Geography and Administration. It fosters dialogue on issues related to the racial and ethnic transformation of places. The overriding purpose of REP is to promote understanding among the myriad groups, through research and discussion in the United States and other areas of the world (Africa, Australia, Canada, Latin America, the Caribbean, Asia and Europe). REP encourages interdisciplinary perspectives and philosophical and methodological diversity. REP is open to participation by academicians, students, practitioners, lay persons and government, business and nonprofit agency representatives. Click on the link above for more information.
