Recognition Societies

Recognition societies thank and honor alumni, parents and other friends who help advance the University's mission through a high level of financial support. These generous gifts to support Binghamton make a difference and have a direct impact on students, faculty, programs and the overall success of the University.

Glenn G. and Wanda Bartle Society

Named in honor of former University President Glenn Bartle and his wife, Wanda, the Glenn G. and Wanda Bartle Society provides recognition to donors who give $1,000 or more annually to any gift designation.

* Note: If you've graduated within the past 10 years (BOLD), you will be recognized as a Bartle Society donor with an annual gift of $500.

Pegasus Society

This society recognizes alumni and friends with cumulative giving of at least $250,000, and organizations, foundations and corporations with cumulative giving of at least $1 million.

Esther W. Couper Heritage Society

Named in honor of one of the University's most generous donors, the Esther W. Couper Heritage Society recognizes alumni and friends who have made a commitment to the Binghamton University Foundation through their wills or other planned gifts.
