Latino Greek Council Logo

On behalf of the entire Executive Board, I want to welcome you all to the Latino Greek Council (LGC) section of the Office of Fraternity & Sorority Life website of Binghamton University. LGC was established in the year of 1994 in Binghamton University. We are coalition of seven Latino based Greek-letter fraternities and sororities.

Our council includes membership of:

ΛΥΛ - Lambda Upsilon Lambda

ΩΦΒ - Omega Phi Beta
ΣΛΓ - Sigma Lambda Gamma
ΣΛΥ - Sigma Lambda Upsilon
ΛΘΑ - Lambda Theta Alpha
ΧΥΣ- Chi Upsilon Sigma

We trace our roots back to our culture and embrace Binghamton University with diversity. As a council we work closely together to better serve the needs and wants of the community. We take pride in our founding principles and exemplify them by serving the Binghamton community. We promote the academic advancement of our people, which fosters respect, unity, and friendship between the members of the Council.

In closing, I want to welcome you all again to our website. I want to express how truly honored it is to be the leader of an outstanding community, but I do not do this alone, the efforts of our members are what make the Latino Greek Council remarkable.
My hopes are that this page is of great help and we as a council look forward to answering any questions or concerns you may have on behalf of LGC.

Mission Statement:

To bring forth our Latino (a) based/Latino (a) oriented culture along with other cultures and discuss the issues, which currently affect the Latino community, and the strategies that we as college students must implement on an organizational and council level in order to empower our Latino constituencies.
