Liberty Partnership Focus and Approach
The Liberty Partnerships Program is founded on the belief that students will achieve academic success and lead productive lives as adults if they are provided with support, encouragement, information and effective interventions. In addition to the one to one mentorship support of a dedicated Liberty Counselor, our program provides service delivery in the following areas: academic support, leadership and civic engagement, workforce development, college preparedness, and service learning.
Through our Institutions of Higher Education, the Liberty Partnerships Programs offer strong school and community partnerships that deliver research-based programming to students enrolled in public and non-public schools that are identified as having a high risk of students dropping out of school. The Binghamton University Liberty Partnerships program currently serves more than 335 students in the Binghamton, Windsor, Susquehanna Valley, Owego Apalachin and Union-Endicott Central School Districts.
