Willma S. and Stewart W. Hoyt Foundation Award

This $52,0000 award has supported an interdisciplinary team of social work, education and nursing faculty and graduate students to develop, deliver and evaluate the implementation of physical and mental health services in two Binghamton City elementary schools in 2008-09 and 2009-10.

Safe, Healthy Attitudes Require Education (SHARE) Award

This $5.6 million federal grant from the Safe Schools/Healthy Students Initiative was awarded to Broome-Tioga BOCES in collaboration with the Center for Best Practices in Full-Service Community Schools and Lourdes Hospital Youth Services. It supports the interdisciplinary development, implementation and evaluation of an array of services across 10 school districts over a four-year period. Service delivery began in fall 2010.
