The Center on Aging

Through interdisciplinary research, education and practice, the Center on Aging develops, implements and evaluates new methods and models to enhance the quality of life of older adults and their caregivers – positioning itself as a pioneer in interdisciplinary research and practice.

Supporting research for healthy lifespans and active aging

The center relies on the rich collaboration of researchers, students and educators from Binghamton University and SUNY Upstate Medical University, along with practitioners from other universities, agencies and communities.


The Center on Aging will be a pioneer in interdisciplinary approaches to identifying, researching and fostering positive change in challenges confronting older adults and their caregivers.
