Binghamton played to a 0-0 tie against Cornell in a non-conference men’s soccer game on Sept. 26 at the Bearcats Sports Complex. The deadlock extends the Bearcats unbeaten streak to three games and is the squad’s second shutout during that span.
“Even though we did not get the result we wanted, this was a great college soccer game,” head coach Paul Marco said. “I thought our back four and goalkeeper played quite well.”
Binghamton (1-4-2) outshot Cornell (3-2-3) for the game, 10-9.
Redshirt freshman goalkeeper Chris Hayen recorded a career-high six saves for the Bearcats.
