The Office of Research Advancement received two awards in the annual Accolades competition organized by District II of the Council for Advancement and Support of Education. Discover-e, a website dedicated to Binghamton University research news, was honored with a silver award in the news websites category. The site is edited by Rachel Coker, director of research advancement; with design by Martha Terry, creative services manager; and technical support from Oren Levi, information services manager. The cover Terry created for the spring/summer 2011 research magazine, “A Shot of Innovation,” received a bronze award in the visual design in print/covers category. The awards were presented during the district’s conference on Jan. 23 in New York City.
