 1. Reminder of ISSS Availability

The office of International Student and Scholar Services holds walk-in advising hours on Mondays and Tuesdays from 10:00am to 11:45am and Wednesdays and Thursdays from 1:30pm to 3:30pm. Please note that walk-in advising hours will be canceled from Tuesday, August 18 through Monday, August 24. Walk-in advising hours will resume on Tuesday, August 25. Thank you for your patience and please plan accordingly. Please visit the ISSS website for updates.

2. Arrival of New International Students

If you happen to meet a new student prior to August 15, please be sure to direct them to the office of International Student and Scholar Services (ISSS) during walk-in advising hours. The ISSS is recording new student arrivals and distributing helpful early arrival information. ISSS walk-in advising hours are Mondays & Tuesdays from 10:00am to 11:45am and Wednesdays & Thursdays from 1:30pm to 3:30pm. On Friday, August 14, you may encourage students to check in at ISSS anytime between 9am and 3:30pm. After August 14, you should encourage new students to check-in with ISSS during their scheduled orientation dates.

3. First Friday Art Walk

The next First Friday Art Walk will be Friday, August 7, 2015. The First Friday Art Walk features various art galleries, shops, and restaurants in downtown Binghamton and throughout the city's neighborhoods. During the spring and summer, there is a free trolley along the First Friday route! For additional information, please click here.
