Bingnfs1 Network Storage

ITS provides network storage space on Bingnfs1 to faculty, staff, and students. Although files which occupy this space are backed up on a regular basis, backups are kept for a limited length of time so you shouldn't expect to retrieve old versions of files or those that were removed a long time ago. On the other hand, files stored on your own computer may be lost or damaged should your computer fail and may not be recoverable at all.

Bingnfs1 is accessed with your username and Pods password and is commonly used by students and some faculty. Bingnfs1 storage is also referred to as the "H: drive", though this term is confusing as network storage on Firestone is also commonly referred to as the "H: drive". Firestone is accessed with your username and BGM password and is typically used by staff and some faculty.
