UPS (Uninterrupted Power Supply) Support

Information Technology Services (ITS) has over 300 locations scattered across the University where we have network equipment installed. In the majority of the locations we have Uninterrupted Power Supply (UPS) devices supporting our equipment. Occasionally a UPS fails and will go into alarm status (beeping). If that occurs, we ask that the ITS Help Desk (607-777-6420) be contacted; please provide the building, room number and that there is a device in an alarm state. ITS will dispatch a staff member to resolve that alarm issue.
