Scantron Services - Scantron test results will no longer be printed to enhance security of student grades and to reduce paper use. Test results will be emailed to faculty.
Faculty and Staff Printing Changes - Beginning this semester, faculty staff will no longer receive a Pharos printing quota. Faculty and staff can still print in the computer labs using BUC$. The printing quotas are funded primarily by the student technology fee so the quotas will be reserved for our growing student population.
Technology Maintenance Day - Technology Maintenance Day is scheduled for Tuesday, October 4, 2016. Maintenance Day allows preventive maintenance, critical upgrades and the deployment of new or upgraded tools and services.
Bugaming is now mydevicesbing - Mydevicesbing network is a non-secure wireless network primarily used in the residence halls and across campus for consumer devices such as game consoles and smart TVs, etc. This network can also be accessed through the my.binghamton.edu portal. Contact the Help Desk with any questions or concerns.
Be Aware - Phishing Scams & email@example.com - ITS receives an increase in calls reporting phishing scams during semester transitions. Be alert and be aware, no reputable organization will ask you for your password to your account. If you receive a suspicious e-mail, do not reply and immediately forward it to firstname.lastname@example.org. Our Information Security team will receive it and work with you to help secure your account. Find out more information on the ITS website binghamton.edu/its/security.
Macintosh Users Group - All are welcome! Come to the West POD Classroom in Science III every third Wednesday of the month 9 - 11 a.m. Different topics will be discussed each month.
