The Interpersonal Violence Prevention program, which is housed in the University Counseling Center, serves Binghamton students who have experienced sexual violence, dating or relationship violence, bullying or stalking. We also deliver an array of educational programs throughout campus, as well as in the surrounding community. Additional information on these topics is available on our Resources webpage.

Consultation, Counseling and Advocacy

Professional staff provide academic, legal, medical and housing advocacy for survivors around issues of sexual assault, bullying, stalking and relationship violence (emotional, physical and sexual). The Counseling Center, resident directors, University Police, Decker Student Health Services Center and the Crime Victim’s Assistance Center can help you navigate Binghamton University after experiencing any of these or other forms of interpersonal violence. See our Resources webpage for contact information and useful links.
