Binghamton University to host gift-wrapping party for holiday toy drive


BINGHAMTON, NY – The Binghamton University Student Association (SA) will host a gift-wrapping party to celebrate its holiday toy drive, Project SAnta, from 11 a.m.-4 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 7, in the Mandela Room, located in the University Union, on campus.

BINGHAMTON, NY – A $10,000 reward is being offered by Binghamton University and the city of Binghamton to anyone who has information that leads to the apprehension of the driver of the vehicle that hit and killed 20-year-old Stefani Lineva, a spirited and vibrant Binghamton University student and member of the University’s tennis team.

New website uses big data to address underrepresentation of women in philosophy


BINGHAMTON, NY – A new website created by faculty and students at Binghamton University, State University of New York ranks university philosophy departments and academic journals by gender in order to draw attention to the underrepresentation of women in philosophy.
