Binghamton University to host 40th annual Poetry and the Children Day


BINGHAMTON, NY – More than 500 students from 16 school districts will meet at 10 a.m. Wednesday, May 24, in the Osterhout Concert Theater of the Anderson Center at Binghamton University for the 40th annual Poetry and the Children Day. After an opening presentation, students will present their poems at 11 a.m. throughout the Fine Arts Building.

Binghamton University students "Ditch the Dumpster"


BINGHAMTON, NY - Students at Binghamton University are being encouraged to "Ditch the Dumpster" this spring as they move out of campus residence halls. Collection bins have been placed in each residence hall through Monday, May 22, for students who wish to donate unwanted household items, textbooks and non-perishable food.

Binghamton University to hold Commencement ceremonies May 19-21


BINGHAMTON, NY - Binghamton University will confer nearly 3,700 degrees for bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral candidates during Commencement 2017 ceremonies, to be held May 19-21 at the Events Center, on campus.
