"Discover Engineering" at Binghamton University's Engineer Week 2014
BINGHAMTON, NY – The Thomas J. Watson School of Engineering and Applied Science at Binghamton University will again host a full day of programming for budding engineers in celebration of National Engineers Week. The events, which are free and open to students of all ages, will run from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 22, in the Engineering and Science Building at Binghamton University’s Innovative Technologies Complex (ITC), 85 Murray Hill Road, Vestal.
This year, there will be several exciting, new hands-on activities, including a rocket car-building competition and a build-your-own-circuit event. Other events offer familiar challenges from the past: the 15-foot egg drop and the spaghetti bridge-building competition. Participants can also check out the super-mileage car and a quadcopter demonstration.
