Binghamton University to celebrate the life and career of Richard T. Antoun


BINGHAMTON, NY -- A celebration of the life and career of Richard T. Antoun, professor emeritus of anthropology, will be held from 1-2:30 p.m. Friday, February 26, in the Anderson Center Chamber Hall on the Binghamton University campus.

The event will celebrate a scholar who traveled the world over to understand diverse cultures, a teacher committed to guiding students in their intellectual pursuits, a man possessed of both strength and gentleness, and a citizen who valued peace and compassion.

A reception will follow in the Grand Corridor. Parking will be available in front of the Anderson Center (lot C) and in the parking garage. Garage exit passes will be available from Anderson Center ushers.
