Background

Eric Richards, BS Pharm, joined Binghamton University as a clinical assistant professor and co-coordinator in the office of experiential experience. He graduated with his BS Pharmacy degree from Ohio Northern University in Ada, Ohio. He came to Binghamton University with over 40 years of experience as a hospital pharmacy leader, independent pharmacy owner, pharmacy educator and mentor.

Richards most recently practiced as director of pharmacy for HCA Houston Healthcare, Clear Lake in Webster, Tex. He had 15 years of clinical and leadership practice with HCA Houston Healthcare. Prior to his tenure in Texas, he was director of pharmacy at O’Bleness Memorial Hospital in Athens, Ohio for 25 years and president of Medical Center Pharmacy, Inc. for 12 of those years.
