Day of Caring

Binghamton University students and staff paint a mural at the Handicapped Children's Association in Johnson City during the annual Day of Caring. Binghamton University and other volunteers from area businesses and other organizations volunteer their time to spruce up the facilities of local on-profit agencies for the annual event which combines service, volunteerism and community spirit. It is held to commemorate the events of September 11, 2001, to honor the spirit of serving others and building our community together.
