Vendors who provide services for weddings, such as florists and bakeries, became some of the biggest opponents of gay marriage when it was legalized. Jack Phillips, the owner of a cakeshop in Colorado, refused to make a cake for a gay couple that wished to get married because he thought it would "displease" God.
