"The business of America is business", or so the saying goes. The underlying causes of the American Revolution were, in part, rooted in questions of commercial and property rights. These questions remain as fierce today as at the nation's birth. Intertwined with issues of public policy and regulation, the nature of how businesses are organized, operated and taxed are only some of the issues of today. The questions of corporate rights and obligations is now on center stage of law and politics and how these questions are answered impact our elections and individual rights.
