Skip Child Support. Go to Jail. Lose Job. Repeat.

Failure to pay child support can lead to the parent going to jail, therefore probably losing his or her job as well. However, how is a parent supposed to pay for child support if he or she does not have a job to generate income? It can be a vicious cycle.

The ways that certain court orders when enforced act as an enforcement of a cycle, especially for the working poor, mostly goes unseen unless experienced directly. Even the best of intentions can serve as an obstacle to the very goal being sought.
